All the news headlines you need to know from Monday.
I’ll admit that taking a break from these, while refreshing, made it a bit more difficult to compile headlines into a song. I was just outta practice and it took me the whole entire day to write the song. Had to keep going back, hoping for rhyming words to pop into the headlines over at CNN.com. Maybe I can just blame CNN for not writing good enough headlines, though. Yeah, I’ll do that.
Get it together, CNN.
And…here’s the Talkin’ Headline for this week. That was easy enough to get back into the swing of things.
Tomorrow, look for the re-record of last year’s weekly song. I’ll get it up before heading out on tour. Off to Madison on Saturday morning.
Looky here…these are the headlines from a month ago. I wrote this version of the Talkin’ Headline Blues back on April 30 with the intention of recording the song and loading it up here. And then, well, I pulled the rug out from under my feet.
So, I’m posting it today. You can see how far we’ve come as a world in but one month.
Tomorrow I’ll get up this week’s headlines (written on Monday).
Then, Friday, the re-recorded version of the song I recorded this week last year goes up (although I still need to actually DO that).
